He opposes the predatory gambling industries, including the lottery, and discusses with Jim the many ways people are lulled and seduced into gamblingâciting at one point the song, itâs âsuch an easy evilâ¦a sensuous sin, sometimes I donât know where Iâm goinâ, âtil I been taken in.â
